This is a story of my pain,
why it hurts to sleep in the rain
Why the love songs aren’t so great
Why I’m afraid, of even good fate
This is a story of what love can do
A story that is told and always true
Because love is a pain that we can’t hide
An emotion in which we must confide
This is why I cry, when I hear your name
Why I wish I didn't feel, so ashamed
Why I wonder what, I did wrong
Why I feel you lied, all along
Once upon a time in a land that was real
I got the chance to know how it feels
What it is, to be wanted and loved
