When people talk about others experimenting, are they talking about just plain fooling around or actually trying out full-on sex? Just curious cause I'm kind of getting mixed answers over here.

I think this Q depends on the person. In most circumstances, though, I don't think the majority mean actually having sex, but performing lesser actions.

I think most of the time time it is not full-on penetration. Probably stuff like mutual masturbation, handjobs and blowjobs.

To me it's usually meant trying sexual stuff (usually with a member of the same gender), without the strings of a relationship attached.
