How do you guys and girls feel when you're going to have sex the first time? I'm kind of feeling a bit nervous. Actually, I'm not sure if it'll go that far. But if it does, and I think I'm ready for it, I feel nervous. Is it normal to feel that way?

Also, I have a feeling that I'll have some kind of guilty feeling after I do have sex. Is that also normal to feel that after doing it for the first time? Hope to get some speedy answers because I'm planning to do this on saturday.

And yes, before you start asking, I know the person i'm going to do it with is clean.

I was soo nervous my first time. (I have some anxiety issues so I can get worked up pretty easily, and this was one thing I was really worried about.) Luckily I have an awesome boyfriend who was also nervous and afraid of hurting me, and we took it very slow. It definitely helps if you have a partner that's on the same page as you. As for the guilt thing...I never felt that. I'm the type of person who will only have sex with someone once I'm sure I love them & that our relationship is going to last, so I don't have anything to regret or whatever. (:

Well really my first time I did it there was a party at my house and a girl was drunk and she was flirting and we ended up in bed and since I was a little drunk I didn't feel nervous but ever since that day when I have sex with my gf I feel normal what I mean horny but I don't feel nervous anymore ... what you should do is to do it like a normal thing and just go with the flow and don't think that much and you will not feel nervous and also feel confident that at least is someone clean and not someone you just met

I'm am extremely extremely nervous for my first time. But I'm also excited? I already know that it's going to be with my boyfriend, it's just a question of when. We've talked about it, and we both want it very badly, but we also like the point we are at right now in our relationship, and we don't want to rush things. We both know that if things start heading that way, either one of us can say to stop, or slow down, and it's no hard feelings. it's not an issue of wanting to with eachother, we just feel like we both need to feel completely comfortable in the fact of what we are doing/

I was afraid that I would feel guilty after doing sexual things. And I think that if I did it with anyone other than my current boyfriend, I would. But because I've found the right guy, I feel no remorse at all. Since we haven't had sex yet, I can't say I won't feel guilty after that. Although, I can say that I don't think I will, as long as we are safe and happy afterwards.

I think you'll be more nervous if you plan the day to do it. If you're like "Oh, let's have sex on Tuesday." then you're going to be thinking about that all day long, and feel like you have to on that day. If you just go with the flow, and be prepared, then if it happens, it does, when you're ready that is, and if you don't feel comfortable, then you can always stop.
