MW2 Started Freezing

So, maybe it is because of the weather but, my MW2 started to freeze the moment I select a Single player mision ( the morning was very fine but in the afternoon it is like this )

Seems to be a common issue among PS3s. (After doing a quick search I literately found hundreds of threads on various forums about the PS3 freezing at one point or another either in MW2, or after playing MW2.)

Causes range from your PS3 about to die, to it just being a dirty disc. Try cleaning the disc with a microfiber cloth and see if that helps.

Honestly?! i thought MW2 would've been one of the safest games to play since their no complexitys, but check your disc it unlike a BD to be scratched unless your really careless with it, may just be dirt.
What generation ps3 do you have?

Try cleaning the disc, that could be the problem. What PS3 do you have? I have a CECHE01 80GB, and I don't have that problem.

Do you have warranty on the PS3? And I would just try to clean the disc if I were you.
