hi, well more recently ive been seeing things, well not things more someone, i keep seeing this guy, and its really scaring me, he's scaring me, its not the 1st time this has happened, but its become so much more frequent, i recognise his voice but have no idea where from, i can see him hear him, even feel him touch me, im scared he will hurt me as he has before, that may sound so crazy, but i felt his hands around my neck and i couldnt breath, i think im loosing it, im so jumpy all the time, also, i seem to b unable to know if i really said something, i dont no how to explain it, its like ill b with some one, and im certain we are talking about something, and they will answer back but then i will actually say some thing and they will b like what are u on about?? and it turns out i wasnt talking at all, this has been happening alot, and im getting confused with whats real and what im imagening, but im adiment ive bn talking, its so confusing, is it something i should try to get help with? or am i over reacting, is this anything like schizophrenia? :confused:
any help would b great, and i can tell u more info if u need, im just so confused and kinda scared, thank you x

I'm schizo so I see and hear things too.

Sounds like you need to see a mental doctor to check you out. You might be a schizo and if you are the sooner you get on treatment the better the outcome.

Don't worry, its not so bad once you get on meds.

You need to be honest with your mum, because you cant get the drugs without her... so be honest with her, and then see a doctor.

hi, i told my mom, abit of it, to see how she would react, i told her about that guy i started seeign 1st, i said that i keep seeing this guy thats not there and she basically said i was crazy, so i havent gone to the doctors, and its getting worse, im seeing more ppl, when me and my bf where out driving i thought he was gunna hit this man that was just standing there, so i said to slow down, but he didnt see why, i said u mite hit that man, he looked at me and said what man? its really getting me down, ive got all these people i keep seing but i no there not there, but then i have this voice saying but what if hes lying what if he sees them too and just wants me to think ive gone mad, i swear ppl keep starting at me thinking im crazy, and im getting reli paranoid and jumpy around men, ones that look like my dad or my cousin, i think i must look like such a weirdo to everyone, i was looking in the car mirror after i kept seeing that man, hoping if i focused on something i knew it would go away, i was just looking at my eyes in the wing mirror and then this big pare of red eyes where there staring at me, its getting realli scary, some one told me if u talk to them they get less scary so i thought questions to that man, i asked him his name and then the name derek came into my head, so then i asked what he was doin and then u no like static on a tv, i got that sound and that image in my head, and that face with red eyes came out of it, saying things in this wispery voice, its getting reli bad, my nightmares are getting worse and im seeing things more oftern, and im constantly getting that thing where u suddly shake, ppl call it when sme one walks over your grave or u were touched by an angel, but im getting ALOT! ive also got this gut feeling smething is reli wrong but i have no idea what, what should i do? thanks xoxo

Make an appointment to see your GP. Tell him all of this. He has the power to refer you to see a shrink. Once you are honest with the shrink then you can get meds to help.

Well, I don't know... maybe you can go to the doctor by yourself, tell them that you think you're having schizophrenia simpthoms (sp??), let him check you, and if you do have it, he will give you a paper with the meds... if your mom doesn't buy them, your doctor might call and ask if you have... if they say yes, he will check in a computer to see if you have... if you say no, well, something serious might happen...
That would be what would happen here... don't know if things in UK would be the same

Harrie, you don't need your mums permission to go to the doctor about anything. Hell, I could go to the doc about a pregnancy or a disease or infection or whatever the hell I like and not be under any obligation to my mum.

It could be. But, to be honest I'm reluctant to say a definite yes or a definite no. My knowledge of schizophrenia is alright, but not great. You have to see someone about it though hunni. And remember we are all here for you! :hug: :)
