Hey, Thanks!

Yeah; we have our heads "screwed-on" right.

There's a bunch of great..really nice guys on here.

If you read the posts (comments) of the guys identifying themselves as straight, you'll clearly see that they're still trying to "nail down" their orientation; They're experimenting, because all they've ever known about - as boys - were other boys, so they feel more comfortable "experimenting" with other guys.

I know I felt that way.

And even though I'm Gay...because I just HAD TO KNOW what is was like to be with a girl, I had sex with one. The sex was real good, but in comparison with sex with a guy, it just didn't have the "euphoria" that I experienced with a guy, so the "novelty" of it wore off pretty quick. But, she liked it; we had fun...(and to be honest) because my B/F's Dad got transferred to California...if she came to me and asked me to play "again" , I wouldn't turn her down.

My parents have instilled within me a basic value: Be Happy, and be Passionate about everything you do...and you'll always be happy!

Welcome to the site!

Mackenzie, I agree with you totally. I am from a small town (very homophobic) and until I found VT, I use to think that I was the only teen who was struggling with their sexuality and omg I've learned so much here and have met so many cool people/friends here. Sure, I've always known there were gay men because I've seen them on TV and in movies but not other teens my age and I remember how alone I use to feel and how abnormal I felt, so yea, I totally agree with you and am so grateful for VT and all the awesome members here.

I am straight, but I totally love websites/communities where it's common and okay to be gay. I was watching a TV show the other day that mentioned that younger generations are more accepting of homosexual people, and I hope that's true, because you guys deserve a world where you can be yourself completely. Until the whole world is accepting of people who are homosexual it's nice to see communities and websites online that definitely are.

Yeah I know how you feel mate, last year when I was coming to terms with my sexuality I felt so unbelievably isolated, and then I came across VT and it was the greatest source of comfort I found ~ I actually felt normal and could openly talk about a very distressing issue, and since then I've sought to offer advice where I can to people in similar situations to mine,

I'm glad you're happier now, it's always a great feeling to put someone's mind at ease (:^,

I live in a homophobic city and I can say VT is the best place to meet ppl that have different ideas about sexaul orientation. Here one can share points of view with other ppl about everything without being judged. This is the best site. Welcome :)

Just wait until you got to a college, particularly if it's liberal like mine. I have come out fully and it has been great. It's a truly freeing and relieving experience. Keep the confidence. Love who you are — all of it — and people who are true friends will respect that. Good luck. :)
