life, all just one big game to some.
betting chips crafted with others emotions,
rolling dice to decide their fate,
tossing the chips around the table like trash.

money is replaced with a pistol
ready to shoot the loser down
cards of chance are dealt,
but only as fairly as the dealer decides.

played so unfairly, this game built upon lies
poker faces all the way seemed to be the best disguise
honesty just seems to get you shot in a world like this
no time for fun, when there's so much to be taken away

everyone has their tell tale signs,
allowing the players to see through their lies
some use it as an advantage, others just cast it aside
some players are just out to win, others, just out to die.

as the chips are flicked around the table,
bullets are too sprayed around the town
a world driven by media,
guess it gives them something to write about.

lifes just one big game you can't decide you've had enough of
the only way out, is the bullet in the back of your head.
fired by those who think they have the right to judge who lives and who dies
they'll stab you in the back, with the bones of those they left dead.

so many players in this world,
hiding behind thier poker face.
which lies are the worst?
those of hurt, love or trust?
