Hey, I'm planning to experiment soon, but I have a couple of questions. I've checked online already, but they don't really answer all of my questions. And yes, I'm planning to play it safe, with condoms and all that.

Can you still get an hiv even though there's no open wound present? I'm sure you can get it if you did anal or oral, but does there have to be an open wound of sorts in order to get sick?

Also, can precum also get you hiv? Does it pose a lesser risk for contracting than actual cum itself?

I want to make sure I know everything before I start experimenting. And most of the questions I asked here have either no answer online or have very confusing ones. Thanks for helping.

First rule: if you think there's a chance that your possible partner has HIV or AIDS, don't engage in any sexual relations with them. You're just asking to get it.

HIV can be transmitted through blood, semen, pre-ejaculate (pre-cum), vaginal secretions and breast milk.

You don't have to have a visible wound to contract HIV. It can be transmitted through tiny wounds (smaller than you can see) in or around the genitals, anus and mouth.

HIV has not been found in saliva or tears, or at least not at levels that are contagious.

But again, if you have reason to believe that your partner has HIV or AIDS, avoid the risk by avoiding sex. It's not worth it.

Unless you've seen their negative test results, you have absolutely no way of knowing if they really have HIV or not.
