I love the graphic novels/comics, so I can't wait till I watch this. I'm gonna go see it this week :D

The only thing I'm worried about is Michael Cera being cast as Scott. Michael Cera usually plays some socially awkward teenager (in fact I can't think of a time when he didn't), and Scott isn't awkward at all, at least not in the same way. Hopefully he did a good acting job.

I didn't even know there were books. To me it looked kind of stupid judging by the previews but now I'm kind of curious now that a few of you say it was good.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was pretty good. I had read the first 2 graphic novels(still need to buy the latter 4) before seeing it. Based on that I think they did a pretty good translation but wish they had a scene where they at least explained Scott and Kim's relationship in high school. I'm hoping they have it in a deleted scene on the DVD. It's a lot better than most people think. I'm annoyed that Vampires Suck managed to make more than it and that it still isn't even close to making back the money it cost to produce the movie.

The movie was really funny. Has some of the most epic battle scenes EVER. I've always wanted to go to a concert and have two dragons and some big green troll fight in front of me to the sound of music.
