Most of us are out of school/college for the summer- and most of us have horrible sleeping habits during the summer; stay up late, go to sleep in the morning, etc, etc. What are some tips to regaining proper sleeping habits when it's time to start school again?
Should you start a week early to get back on schedule or do a spur-of-the-moment type thing and just start slowly?

I would suggest a week or two before start getting back into your normal habits, other wise you're pretty screwed, unless you're a morning person and very good getting up, lol.

I'm in college, I build my school schedule around my sleep schedule :P

I Have to learn to wake up really early. the time I go to sleep I don't have a problem. it's the time I wake up!

I prefer the daytime so I don't go to bed late. Midnight, maximum

The night before school I just go to sleep when I'm tired, which is around midnight. So when I wake I'm tired, so I'll be able to go to sleep easily the next night.

I don't have to worry about my sleeping pattern until October :P Because I do online college.

Im basically nocturnal now.
I go to bed at 6am then wake up at 5pm

My habits aren't THAT bad during the summer. 2 is my latest going to sleep, but even when I do go to bed that late, I can't sleep very late, usually around 10 if I'm up that late.
My sleeping schedule basically corrects itself once volleyball preseason starts, which is on Monday. The practices tire me out so much that I go to bed early, then have no problem waking up at what time I need to get up.

I'll continue to go to bed a bit late, now the usual is between 3 and 4 am. A week before school starts, I'll begin to go to bed half an hour sooner each day until the big day's eve, so I can restart my usual school schedule.

My sleeping patterns have hit rock bottom.
went to bed at 6am last night.
woke up at 4pm
during the day i got hi so i fell alseep from from 6pm -9pm
and right now its 8am and i still havent went to bed

My sleep patterns are the worst they've ever been currently. Stay up until 4, sleep until 1. Which is ridiculous. But I do nothing special during the year. I thrive on 3-4 hours of sleep. Extra sleep makes me feel tired and weighed-down.
