Should there be a lower age of consent for boys than for girls?
Since it is more acceptable for teen boys to have sex with grown women than it would be if the sexes were switched answer these questions.
1. what should the age of consent be for boys when it comes heterosexual relationships?
2. What should the age of consent be for girls when it comes to heterosexual relationships?
3. What should the age of consent be for boys when it comes to homosexual relationships?
4. What should the age of consent be for girls when it comes to homosexual relationships?

I think it's vice-versa. Girls tend to date older men.

Thanks to the 14th amendment, any attempt to alter the age of consent for homosexual and heterosexual relationships would eventually be struck down. Remember, "equal protection under law".
I hold the belief that 14 would be an appropriate age if so many of us 14-year-olds weren't so stupid, which I why I added "or 15" to each answer. I would also say "with protection" until 18, but that's not really enforceable — then again, the age of consent in its entirety isn't.

Every anti-sexist, common-sense bone in my body is shivering at the fact that we're even having this conversation. Proposing such a divisive law in this day and age is beyond asinine. No, the age of consent should remain the same for everyone, regardless of sex and sexuality.

In NSW Australia once you 16 you can even have sex with a 60 year old.

I see many people agree with me :D
13 is too young, there are many kids who are JUST starting puberty at that age and don't fully understand it. By 14 or 15 teens understand how everything "works" and most of them are mature enough to comprehend the consequences of acting stupid.

And by "some" you mean you.
I think the age is fine as it is for right now.

This. :] My thoughts exactly. Boys can still get STD's from sleeping with whores, so as far as I'm concerned, it's still just as dangerous.
