See, I've kinda gotten into video editing, so y'know, I'd like to see if there are any good ones that are free to download, because let's face it, you can't do anything on WMM.

Video editing is my passion! I would reccomend Camtasia Studio. However it's not free, you could torrent it if you wanted to though.*
(* I do not support piracy by any means)

You really won't fine anything with a good feature set for free. That's just the hard fact.
Something that has a few more features/options than Windows Movie Maker is Windows Live Movie Maker. Though, it doesn't do real in-depth editing, it gets the job done.

Wow, I didn't notice it, but I have Windows Live Movie Maker. I feel it's actually been striped down. Such as, I cannot find a way to "narrate" a video on it. WMM on XP had more options, if I can remember correctly.

Well something that's good and free is iMovie. But why would you want to buy a Mac? :P

Well, video editing is better to do on a Mac. :P

Which is my only consideration on getting a Mac. I just have to spend money I don't have.

Sony Vegas 9 can be free, that's what I use for all my YouTube videos and just general messing around.

Torrents? I recommend Sony Vegas. Or if you want legal, safe and (probably useless) video editing software, I'd go for WMM. And please, I am a pirate, don't tell the cops. :D

(I'm not saying you should use torrents by the way XD)

Free good editing Software ? there isn't really a free one, some acceptable free editing softwares can be: Windows movie Maker, iMovie.

Good editing softwares (not free): Adobe Premiere Pro*, After Effects* (for more personalized effects), Final Cut (Mac), Sony Vegas...

*(You can downland free trials at Adobe.com )

Face the facts. There are NO good free software. Download Vegas, do your thing.

Well I mean. You don't necessarily have to torrent the program itself. I'm pretty sure you can download the free trial, then download a Keygen to give you a serial number to activate the full program. But you know, whatever you want to do.

Free Video Editor is a video editing software that you can also download for free. It allows you to edit video files in different formats including AVI, MPEG, MP4, FLV, SWF, MOV and WMV. It also allows you to rearrange clips to make a new output of a video file. However, functions are limited in this software and doesn’t have much special effects like it can’t easily share videos in YouTube.
