Hi,
My PSP 2000 freezes whenever I am in LittleBig Planet's Level Editor.

It happens randomly; sometimes at an earlier time, sometimes at a later time.
For example, I can be halfway through creating a level, and it'll freeze.
It's always unexpected.

I checked the disc, it's fine. Perhaps I'm overloading the PSP? It doesn't feel warm after it shuts down.
------------------------
Anyways, here's how it happens:

It freezes
I hold the power switch for 3 seconds
it emits a pop through the speakers
The screen goes dark

Anyone know why this is? It drives me crazy, especially since it's too late to save then

Ok...
How would I prevent that?
I've heard that some games increase the processor speed from 333MHz to 480MHz. Maybe that's the problem? Or maybe it's the UMD.

i would just save your progress every 5-10 minutes

now it's starting to act even wierder. it won't let me do anything at all. i got sick of it, so i deleted the files, but i don't think that will help. even the internet randomly freezes as well.
i'm thinking of getting a psp3000.

It's impossible. The maximum processor speed of a PSP is 333MHz, and it's already overclocking. The 480MHz you're talking about is for the PSP Go's maximum, and we're talking about PSP-2000's here.

It works now!!
It was a tedious and irritating process, but it worked. Let me explain it to those of you who have the same, similar, or worse problem:
[NOTE: Requires a PC]

Go to http://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/954362-littlebigplanet/saves
Download the zip file
After you've downloaded, go into /PSP/SAVEDATA/UCUS98744PROFILE and delete the whole folder, not just the files
After extracting the "littlebigplanet_d.zip", read the readme and place the correct files into your /PSP/SAVEDATA/ folder
BEFORE STARTING THE GAME, DELETE ANY EXTENSION PACKS. If you don't, it will not work and you'll have to redo this procedure from the beginning
Start the game. It should now work.

After you do this and try to connect to the community moon, you will be prompted to update your LBP game. Do that. I haven't yet, but when I do, I'll post it here.
For any extension packs you had to delete, re-download them from PSN. It will take long, unfortunately, but hopefully it will work again.
