i need help unjailbreaking my ipod so that i can download ios 4.0. Unless theres a way to make the app store think that your ipod is version 4.0 cause i cant download any apps.

To unjailbreak it, just plug it into your computer and when it appears in iTunes, hit Restore on your iPod page.

will i still have all my apps. (yes i synced before i jailbroke)

If you have your apps saved on Itunes you will keep them, the restore will delete everything off the Ipod so as long as you have them saved on Itunes you will still have them.

ok now i have a whole new problem then cause i download all my apps from the ipod itself.

When you plug it into iTunes right click the iPod and hit Transfer Purchases.

Actually, up until July 27th it was, but after some weird things happened it was made legal. It says it's just Iphones, but it was made legal for all Ipod appliances. You can see the full story here (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ytech_wguy/ytech_wguy_tc3236).

All you have to do is install OS 4.0 and it'll do unjailbreak it. That's how i got mine undid (well it was 4.0.1 I think)
