I been doing a sig series on photoshop entitled Tribute to the Armed Services, a signature dedicated to each 5 branches. So far I got 3 done and wanted to show them for your opinions. And before y'all say it the reason the text isn't blended in is so its easy to read.

I like the Marines one the best, but the Navy one would look better if you fix it. I can't explain what's wrong with it, though...

Okie doke, time for the asshole critic.
First of all, I want to slap you for slapping the emblems on top like that. If you're going to do something make it blend and flow together.
Air force: It looks too watercolored and the bottom left corner and the right side just don't go with the rest of the piece.
Marines: The cheesy cut-out ruined this piece, nuff said.
Navy: It looks like your boat is flying. There is no dividing sense showing the horizon or even giving it an aquatic feel.
Overall it looks like you looked up a very basic grunge tutorial and abused it. That, or you slapped random filters down and called yourself pro. You should consider practicing and reading some Photoshop tutorials around the net.
-Kudos.
