IMO, Inception OWNED! THe scenario was stunning, and I learned it took 10 years to write the storyline!
Who else loved it ?

Well i love anything with Leonardo Dicaprio, but it was really amazing, but that woman who played his wife scared me a little :/

Yeah the wife freaked me out too, I always find DiCaprio, like baby, because of his face but in this movie he looked very mature :P

It was one of the best movies I have seen in a while. The entire movie kept you thinking. And the ending was just awesome. :D

Me. While I enjoy a deep plot, this one felt like you had to constantly remember *x* thing that happened five minutes ago, to understand what's happening now, if that makes any sense.

What's wrong with that, it keeps your wheels turning. Best mental stimulator I've experienced in a while.
I think the ending was awesome, if it had had a happy resolution, I would of been left with a dissatisfied feeling. The fact that it you have to decide weather it is a dream or not, it just makes it more intriguing.

See...that's not good. If this blockbuster movie is really the best mental stimulator you have experienced in a while, then no wonder you found it intriguing.

Those types of endings are incredibly lazy to me. Its an easy way out to make an otherwise simple ending, to one that makes the majority of people think. Nothing wrong with that, since its a smart movie...it worked after all. I rather have a twist...a big revelation, or just an ironic end, rather than one that just leaves you hanging so you can pick your ideal view of how the story wraps up.

What's wrong with it was that it had me lost, and I didn't really know what was going on.

Well the end was not specific actually, we don't know if the pin would continously spin or fall, that's for the viewers to decide.

I'm not, it's a simple ending but after you think about it, it gets more and more absurd.

Uh oh, a movie that's not indie but makes you think! What will we ever so do?

Seriously. It was a good movie. Good plot. It wasn't hard to follow in my opinion. And yes, it does require to remember some stuff in the movie, but that's not a bad thing. That means it's making sure you were paying attention in the first place and not staring at Ellen Page's crotch the whole time.

Movie of the year i'm sure.

I'm pretty sure their won't be a sequel. That would bother me.

Why her crotch?
Anyway I agree about the sequel thing but I would definitely love to see more dreams and extractions. If they did a spin-off movie with the same concept and different characters(to avoid creating a definite ending to the first one) I'd definitely be interested.

I loved Inception! Absolute win :)
And I really hope they don't make a sequel, that would destroy the creativity of the first one, and probably ruin it.

Inception was probably the best movie so far this year, it's the kind of movie that's really fun to quote...
And also quite a bit fun to make fun of (http://lh5.ggpht.com/_aKKWPCT-5gQ/TEiPrCMIQ7I/AAAAAAAACd4/SnWjWYDMN4E/inception_thumb%5B4%5D.png?imgmax=800)

I loved it. I didn't really get lost at any point; I'm not sure how many other people did.

Although I liked the ending, I agree with a previous poster that a big twist or revelation would have been better than an open ending. (Granted, the top still spinning was a bit of a twist in itself...)

I watched it again today, lol and noticed few things.
IMO, Dominic is in a dream.
Here is the proof.
1-Everybody woke in the -mountain-elevator-van-plane order, while Cobb just woke up in the plane, maybe he was dreamin in limbo and he dreamed that he would wake up in the plane and Saito calling the shot
2-The moment Saito woke up he called the customs, really, a man would at least stretch after a 10 hour sleep!
3-When Cobb found Saito, Saito was extremely old. Which leads us to 2 things.
A- Cobb slept again and he was at the 4th level and he dreamed Saito old..
B-Cobb stayed at there so long that Saito aged ( though i cannot explain why Cobb didn't)
4-Cobb missed the kick while staying wit Mal ( btw what kind of a name is this, "mal" means dumbass in turkish :D) and he was after Saito so surely he missed the kick 1000 times

Well i thought it had a very detailed plot, which made me respect it alot, but i was expecting something more surreal or avent garde, but i was let down in that aspect, however i still enjoyed it.

Well, regardless of some of the disagreements i've been reading, it is one of the best films I've seen... well done theatrically, great sound and music, an interesting emotional look, and the slow motion scenes were awesome... :) a real winner...

First of all, I loved this film! I went to see it three times just to truly absorb the beauty and attention to detail.
Secondly, your points on the ending are all kind of valid, but I think I have a better one...

Throughout the film, he is imagining his children on the grass next to the door. Throughout the film, they're in that same position as they are projections, they do the same action every time.
When it comes to the end of the film, the children are the same as they were in the projections. Some people will now say 'but they turned around at the end' - consider this first...
1. They've not grown any older.
2. They're wearing the same clothes as they were in all his projections (correct me if I'm wrong).
Therefore, I believe he is, sadly, dreaming :(.

P.S. If they make a sequel, it better be a damn good one. Otherwise they will have 100% tarnished the original IMO.

Doesn't count as a bump if it's less than 6 months old, unless it's in p101 when it's 1 month :P
I liked this film but it was confusing :P And it nearly made me cry when she committed suicide... good thing cinemas are dark :P
