Okay, this may or may not be a stupid idea. I believe there should be a limit as to how many VM's you can have on your profile. Mainly because I go to people's profile pages and see 10+ pages of VM's. Now im not one to talk. I have plenty of VM's, but shouldnt there be a limit a to how many you can have?

No because the only way to get rid of the VMs they don't want would be having them delete it which will also give them the power to edit the VMs so it's just one of those things you ahve to live with.

Well, now that I think about it, my question was kinda stupid (my bad). But it annoyed my because I go to some pages and see 10+ plus pages of VM's.

Nah, there shouldn't be a limit. otherwise, how will people communicate, besides by PM, if they reached the limit?

Maybe a way of, after a certain amount of time, the messages go away.

I don't think it really matters.
I mean, I'd rather have 10 pages of VM's than all of those VM's on one page.

So what if someone has 10 pages of VM's?
It doesn't affect you in any way, shape, or form.

Actually that's not such a bad idea. I cant imagine anyone is going to go back through pages of old vm's, it would be quite a neat idea if they expired after a while.

Some people like going back to those messages for reference. I do all the time. It's not really a bother.

If you're worried about it looking messy, then a hide icon should be implemented, if there can be, and if there isn't one already.

Agreed, i'd go for that

Well we are probably talking hypothetical here, it usually comes down to what options are builtin. But in an ideal world I think a user-configurable option as to what the expiry period was for vms, with a set to 0 for never option, would be ideal.

True, maybe a setup in intervals of 10 days per message if the user wants (or zero for never delete, or some sort of save button)

That seems more complicated though.
