I grew up with an all girl family, with me being the only guy.

I would like to be able to be more like a guy, but every time I try to do something like work out or something similar, my family teases me and make me feel like it's bad that I'm trying to be myself.

Do any of you have any advice?

My family are all girls too, and well im a girl but im kinda tomboy-ish.
So what about bringing a friend over ? and then you get to do more guy-ish stuff with him. And how do they tease you? Just ask them not to, or just go to your room and work out there make sure their not there to annoy you.
Or you could goto the gym or in the park?
im not great at giving advice sorry :D
good luck! :)

Thanks for the advice. I can't go to a gym or anything because I'm too young, but I like the ideas you proposed.

They tease me by... well I guess it's not really teasing, but they laugh at me, and make me feel like s***.

lol I don't think I'll get a personal trainer, my family has absolutely no money. But I did join Bodybuilding.com forums. :)

Good luck with that, by that way.

Well i'm in pretty much the same situation with things but i've found if your persistent enough that they adjust to what ever you choose to do. If they don't make them realise that you ARE different from them and that they're being immature and inconsiderate to your feelings.

I wish there was some way I could kidnap you for a day. Nobody deserves that much suffering.

Psh, don't pay them any mind. It's good that you try to work out - a strong, healthy body is essential for a healthy life. Do your sit ups, your push-ups, your weight lifting, your running, your biking or whatever else you want to do. If you want to watch sports, watch your sports (if you're into them). If you want to kick back and chill, then do so. If you want to thump your chest and declare, "Yeah, baby, I am a man!" then hell, thump your chest!

As someone suggested, bringing a guy-friend over is probably a good idea. You'll have someone you might can bond with, who won't make you feel uncomfortable in your God-given manliness. In fact, invite more than one male friend over if you feel like. Have a sleep over if you can, or go visit one of them. Just don't pay the girls any mind.

Now why are you still here? Off you go with a bundle of dirty magazines, a Coke, and some chips!

lol I sometimes regret being born into this family. Although I'm glad I was born lol.

Thank you for the confidence. I don't exactly want to say to them, "F*** YOU!" but instead I think it's better to ignore their remarks, and not let them get to me.

Haha, I'd have a friend over, but I don't get along with the likes of the guys around me. They're all rednecks. :/

Again, thank you.
