Ah, It's good to play DOOM again.

In 1993, a revolutionary games was released, by the name of DOOM. This First Person Shooter can still today provide decent game play for somebody who thinks that modern games are better. Personally, I like DOOM better than Call Of Duty, DOOM's online play is fun with the right custom map.

So, peoples, if you still play DOOM, what do you use to play it? I generally use GZDOOM for my newer computers and ZDOOM for my old ones. lol

What is your opinion on DOOM? Would you suggest it to someone nowadays?

Never played Doom but I watched the gameplay now and it seems quite awesome for 2000's year gameplay.

Without Doom's influence there would be no Call of duty! I haven't played the origional but i've played the remake that was on the origional Xbox.

I think I stopped at Alpha Labs (Sector 2 or 3). I went into Alpha Labs and seriously almost pissed myself. No sleep that night.

lol I played through DOOM 1, but I never got around to playing DOOM 2 or 3. I really like the custom WADs Serenity, Eternity, and Infinity. They're very old though. :D

I would play team TNT stuff, but my 64 bit computer won't let me install them. :(

A few years back, they released a "Collector's Edition" with all three original games. Works fine on XP, Vista, and 7.

I play DooM on my iPod touch and boy idSoftware did an amazing job porting it to IOS software. Me and my dad use to play it years ago. And like everyone who use to play it left reviews on the app saying: Awesome job on the port. And someone said: Goodbye nostalgia. That one made me giggle a little bit. DooM is a real FPS unlike COD and Halo.

Get yourself a copy, buy the remakes or download the original ROMS. It is up to you.

It's still funny, when my first zombie took the first attack at me. I was scared so I pummeled my flashlight into it. :P Good times. I want to replay hell again without noclips and notargets :D

DOOM set the standards for First Person Shooters. We have a lot to appreciate from the DOOM games, and any uppity MW2 player should give this game a try to see how their favorite hobby transformed over a course of only 15 or so years.

I tried to download doom 1 to see how the game is but every time i try to setup the gameit says it doesn't support the fullscreen mode and terminates :'(

I read an article about the game while searching up. It's in the pipeline and should be out next year after id puts out Rage (which looks amazing). They're thinking of making it like Doom 2 and putting it on Earth, but it's still speculation. There was supposed to be a spot for it at QuakeCon this year but it didn't show. I'm guessing it's gonna be on the XBox 360 title and the Games For Windows title also.
