What song would you like to be the final song you listen to before you die or even a song you want played at your funeral, if you were able to choose? Explain why if you can. I know this is a strange question, but I'm a strange person and this interests me allot.

It's haunting and soft. Beautiful but yet so tragic. I don't think my death would be anything tragic or dramatic, but I would find it to be somewhat dark. A topic rather not spoken about or would draw a type of attention to make people uncomfortable.

This is a serious topic about music, death, and personal life. I would like to see this become something quite interesting as a thread.

Rules:

(1) Only one song

(2) No GG Allin needle up my cock or something that is just trololo on this topic. I want this to be a serious topic.

Begin.

I always feel the 'Moonlight' Sonata always fits the death/funeral situation. I always sense a feeling of sadness and mournfulness in it and I would love for it to be played when they finally put me in the ground.

I'd hate for only depressing music to be played at my funeral v.v

Although somber and melancholy, it is at the same time hopeful and adoring, loving even. I think the lyrics would convey a message I want my loved ones to hear as well.

I don't know why, but Ave Maria was played at my grandmother's funeral. Which, if you didn't know, is the catholic prayer "Hail Mary" sang in latin. Maybe that. It was also one my dad's favorites

At my dad's ceremony, Happy Together by The Turtles, and Pilgrim by Eric Clapton were played. I guess my mother knew those would be what he would have wanted.

And I guess, maybe what I want.

I think it is a great song, and it seems appropriate.

I love Happy Together.... that's actually a really great song to have at a funeral....

I probably wouldn't want it played at my funeral, but this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNMH-EBhQBI) is probably the most sad song that I like listening to..... if that makes sense....

Sweet, someone already broke the rules for more then one song. This is why I shouldn't post anything out of RTE.

But if I may ask, why the one song rule?
