Feeling Depressed

I dont know if this is the right place but here goes.

I have been feeling really bad about myself and my heart problem that i have, it has mostly affected me when i have considered what i want to do as a career. I would like to join the Aussie Navy but because of my heart problem im not able to.
This is all i want to do and is my dream and because i have something i don't want or haven't asked for i cannot follow my dream.
All of my dreams are ristricted my by heart problem and i just want to not have it anymore and i want to be done with it.

If I remember correctly you have the same heart problem I do. Over the last year I've learnt a lot about things like this and how its going to limit my life to things im physically capable of, not anything else. You may not be able to go into the front line of the army, but are there any jobs along that line that you're able to do? You're only 16, you have a few more years to find some things that you're able to do for a career and enjoy, believe me something will come along. It's just going to take a little while and a new route.

I think we do have the same heart problem, the thing is i have had other ideas for a career but when i look at them i cannot do them either, eg, i wanted to be a pilot and i cannot do that.

I dont want to sit at a desk everyday (no offence to the people who do) i want to actually be out there doing a job thats going to make a difference in the world.
I just want to give up and not do anything any more the amount of times i have been told i can't do things is just annoying and it's because of my heart problem.

There are doctors, they do great things for people every day. As far as im aware you're not limited with that because of your heart condition. I'm going on to University for veterinary surgery next year, may not be a big one, but im hoping to make a difference.

I see where you are coming from I know I'm not limited on what I can do, although I would like to be able to follow my dream, I can see I have a lot of opportunities and I am able to do many things.
