It's not the childs fault that their mom was a lier. Yes the man should be held responsible. There is no such thing as 100% protection unless you just dont have sex. Sex is always a risk.

Should sperm donors be held accountable then?

Thats just like saying when a child is adopted the biological parents are still responsible.
If you are legally the father (if you are the biological father then you are, the child is adopted or your rights as a father are taken away by social services) then you have to deal with the consequences of having sex. Sperm donors whatever their motivation is individually accept zero responsibly through a contract, other parents legally take responsibility when getting inseminated.

Do you also agree that a man should be held responsible if any woman whether it is a sexual partner, former sexual partner, or a third party?

Sorry I don't quite understand what your asking.
Are you asking if the man should be held responsible no matter if it is a current person in his life, an ex or a what? I don't get what you mean by third party.

Yes that is what I am asking if a woman steals a man's semen from a condom or a napkin or whatever even if she is not someone the man is or has been sexually involved with.

Well, that is a very unlikely possibility, semen can only live outside the body for anytime from a few minutes to one hour, lol, no offense but that sounds more like something you would see in the movies.
I think that would be the same thing as stealing a womans eggs, and it is punishable by law so legally no I guess in that RARE circumstance the man would not be held responsible, although I would have to question any man that would deny his own child and leave the kid with an obviously insane mother.

Yes, and they are.
It's unfair, but the bottom line is this: nothing is more important than the right of every child to have its parents provide for it. No matter whether or not the man planned the pregnancy, objected to it or even knew about it, if there is a child in the world that is biologically yours, it is your responsibility, period. Nothing comes before the welfare of the child.
This also applies in the case of stolen sperm. The bottom line is, we don't determine child support on the basis of whether or not the father agreed. If there is a child, it has the right to support from both its parents. Nothing else comes before that.

i accualy know someone who her father sabitouged condoms then gave it to her so that he could be a grandpa (shes only 15) but i think that if a man has sex w a woman then they take responsibility for whatever consiquences that result because of that. now the subject of stolen sperm... its unlikely that would happen in my oppinion but if that the case then the man should not be held responsible

This is a very touchy subject for me, but someone has to be responsible for the child.

If the woman lied, then I wouldn't force a child on the man. I don't think that's fair. However, the father should man up anyway and help raise the child.
As for sperm donors, who know that there will be a child born because of them, they should contribute to raising the child, even if it's simply sending money to the mother.

Are you saying that even if the sperm donor is anonymous, he should have to help financially support the child. I can understand if the sperm donor is someone the woman knows, but also consider that many men donate to sperm banks for money and women who get sperm from banks often plan on raising children on their own or with their partners. If anonymous sperm donors have pay child support then that defeats the purpose of them getting paid. Plus sperm donors could end up fathering lots kids. How could they adequately pay child support for all of them.
Do you also believe that egg donors should pay child support if their egg is put into a surrogate for a single man. What if a lesbian couple gets a man's sperm?

I consider sperm donors to be in the same vote as people putting their kids up for adoption, they are giving up their rights as a parent, whether they are doing an adoption because they realize that they cannot be responsible enough to take care of a child or being a sperm donor to help other people conceive, in which case that child is those peoples child and responsibility.

Okay, fine, I'll change my position: sperm donors shouldn't have to help raise a child. Now that I think about it, it doesn't make any sense.
So, in my new opinion, neither sperm donors or lied-to boyfriends should have to help raise the child. Both of them should be able to choose.
