Let me break this down. I like a guy who likes my best friend. My best friend does not like him and might think I'm weird for liking him. I can't tell if he likes me, but ya never know with him. At some point he liked me and all my friends, then he moved. But now my friend ran into him and not only is he texting her, he wanted to talk to me once when she was over so now I'm texting him too. Conversations are pretty sluggish with us. Also, the main problem with us is the history. He used to live next door to my best friend, so he came over a lot. Mostly when I was around. He and Charlotte (the friend in question) were getting pretty close, until he met me, at which point he kissed me and asked me out, and I said no. This was of course, during those awkward stages of early puberty during which he was kind of bug-eyed, scrawny, and lanky. Not particularly desirable as you can imagine which is why I rejected him. And now he shows up, one testosterone surge later, totally gorgeous and super hot. He seems nice enough, only problem is that he's wasting attraction on somebody who is unable to get past the weirdo he used to be. HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED and I certainly hope you can keep up with all this.
