Hi-I'm 13 and have the posture of a pregnant Neanderthal. I'm serious. I stick out my stomach and my back almost curves outward from the front and inwards from behind- so what im trying to say is, is anyone else like this? It for some reason makes me look fatter than I am which is disconserting because I'm a size zero. My uncles a chiropractor and he always says chin up, shoulders back, stomach in, and arms behind my back. I'm jut wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

My stomach sticks out like I'm pregnant, too. I heard it was supposed to change during puberty. but nothing yet. Maybe it changes when we finish puberty completely. orr that's just our body type

I used to have terrible posture, but I kind of corrected it myself. I still slouch so much when I sit down, but that's the way that is comfortable for me, haha.

my stomache doesnt stick out. but i hav HORRIBLE posture. my back is curved..and i am sooo self concious about it. and i try to work on it all the time.
and wen i say something to my freinds, boyfriend, or family they always say its not noticable. but everytime i walk past a window or mirror i see if it is and it seems lik it. but i guess thats just because of how self concious i am...idk.
but it sucks...so bad. :(

I know exactly what you're talking about- it does absolutely nothing for self confidence except tear it to shreads.

Of course. It's a very difficult habit to break, but it IS a habit. No matter what, you have to keep telling yourself the same thing: chin up, shoulders back.
