So I've been writing this book ( actually 4 ) for 2 years now and It is almost done.
Of course, it has a small bit ( but I assure you very little bit of LOTR inside ) and small bit of Dungeon Siege 2.
So the "planned" 4 books are as followed.
Inherited Kingdoms : Resurrection of Evil
Inherited Kingdoms : Siege of Fallen Lands
Inherited Kingdoms : Shifting the Foundations
Inherited Kingdoms : Siege Continues...
It is impossible for me to write a short plotline here so if you are interested I can give you some information via personal message.
We have this battlemage called Aldurin, who is a human (but has very little elven blood inside, that what made him become a supreme battlemage), Mogrek, who is a Half-Giant ( see, I said there was Dungeon Siege 2) King and he needs to destroy evil once and for all. He is also the Chosen Person ( chosen to kill evil )
So their purpose was first to find Erdel Anath, the most powerful mage in the world, to join forces and stop this evil. But turns out Erdel had dissappeared many years ago but he was summoned as Evil again.
To counter that threat, we have Merick ( DS2 again ), who is also a supreme mage ( but not more powerful that Erdel ) to stop Erdel.
At the evil side, we have Vile Mages, led by an Archmage. These guys are the elite force in evil armies. They will cause a lot of problem to "good side" armies and Merick will have to shift the foundations of universe ( book 3 ) to vanish all corrupted arts of magic which these Vile Mages use.
When Vile Mages are destroyed, "Giants of Thairus" are summoned. These guys are as big as King Kong ( by the way, Thairus is the capital of Evil, and has walls are three times the size of these giants so there will be problems when good forces siege the city ).
And when they are destoryed, finally Evil itself arrives in the end of the book : Gran'dil. This guy is as tall as 2 skyscrapers and completely made of fire. Of course, it pawns the ass of good forces in the end.
But then, good forces summon the Divine ( I haven't thought about how will Divine look like and what will it do ) to deeat Gran'dil.
Of coruse, in the end Mogrek and Aldurin are brainwashed many times by Erdel when they sneak in into the city.
So ı just presented the major things in story ( mostly evil side )
