Do you think my voice has broken?
Yeah do you think it has. Here is me about a month ago http://www.rompros.com/Record_2.wma . Here is me now http://www.rompros.com/Record.mp3 do you think it's broken or almost? How old do I sound?

Note: Made this for yahoo answers but changed my mind. This place is better.

Update: My throat feels really sore but I don't have a cold or anything.

I would definately say so, probably still got a bit to go but there's a big difference there.

I find if you want your voice to break, it is hard to get an accurate idea because you unknowingly deepen your voice an octave or two. I say it might have, a little, but it doesn't happen on the time scale of a month, maybe like three or more.

There's no way to tell how long it will be before your voice is at the final level (same as it will be for the rest of your life). It sounds as if it's deepened quite a bit but there still may be a lot left to go. There's really no way to tell.

My throat feels really sore from a couple of days ago as well. I don't have any other symptoms so it's not a cold or anything.

It actually feels like it's just the front of my throat.

The best way to get a mods attention is to report your own post, asking for it to be merged.
