Um, I like the changing your username system and everything, but there's just one thing that bugs me. I don't like how it's required that the first 3 (or 4, I can't remember) characters in your username have to be letters. Because I would like my username to be "I.J.", but I couldn't, so therefore it's "This is I.J.", and thats really all I could think off, and I don't really like it that much, so yeah.

EDIT: Problem solved for me! Thanks Maverick!

if you go to the member (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/memberlist.php) list you can see that there are members whose first three, four characters of their username are not letters

are you sure you're unable to? or is it just when you register you can...Hmm

Are you sure it's just not that your username was too short?

Shatterwings is right. I think it's because it's too short---wait. my user name is 4 letters long.

I think it has only taken effect with the username change option in the user cp. Those users with names like that most likely registered before the rule.

I suggest you contact an admin and have them manually change it because i dont think it really matters
