It's not bad at all. It's just for mainly foreign language it's bad because you have one semester for it instead of the whole school year. I prefer having four classes than like seven.

Jess

Yeah, I have it in the spring. Some people have it in the fall.

The core classes are paired up as English and Math in one semester, and Science and Social Studies for your other semester, plus two electives.

Jess

thats an interesting system :S

We have the same classes all year except some electives of course which could be all semester but part time (every other day) or half semester, everyday :S

Ugh, I hate my schedule, and I haven't even seen it already.

We have 43 minute class periods, with 3 minutes in between.

I don't know what order yet, but I suppose it doesn't matter.

I'll have:

APUSH.
AP Bio.
AP English (If our teacher is still there, she might be leaving.)
PreCalc/Math 12 (Same thing in our school.)
Band.
Gym.
French.
Human Development or Adolescent Psychology. Not really sure how I got signed into this class, but apparently my guidance counselor thought it would be good. FML.
College Survival, maybe. It all depends on how scheduling works out in my life.

Do you guys not have cut off dates?

I know where I live, we have cutoff dates, but that still means you could be a senior at 16. Our date here is December 1st. So, you must turn 5 by December 1st of your kindergarten year.

So, a girl in my grade has the birthday of November 21st, 1994. It was 1999 when we started kindergarten. So she was 4 when she started, and turned 5 in November.

This year we will be juniors, and she won't turn 16 until November. That means, when we're seniors, she'll be 16 until November of her senior year.

This, only the cutoff here was Dec 31st, I believe. Hence why I was 16 until December of my Senior year, and was 17 for the entire first semester of college. (Last day of classes was my 18th birthday present, best one I could have asked for. :))

1) Sociology

I'm also taking an online Psychology course outside of school. I'm thinking about switching out of Photo(my school got a new teacher for this year and the program probably won't be as good without the old one so I'm considering switching my Psychology to 3rd if I really don't like the new Photo teacher).

Supposidly we're getting finalized schedules next week in the mail.
