Pyjamas and underwear (all)

Ive seen quite a few threads about nightwear, but im wondering about this specifically. Do you wear underwear under pyjamas?. personally i wear cotton pyjamas with no underwear, if i was wearing pjs in front of say adults / parents id wear underwear but if i was with friends or staying in my room i wouldnt. Could you please vote on the poll (All genders).

I don't usually wear pyjamas all that much, usually its just the pants/shorts of them i wear. But i don't wear both, its either boxers or pyjamas not both at the same time.

I wear PJs in the winter, with no underwear, and in the summer just boxers or nothing

WHY wear underwear under pyjamas? isnt it the same as just wearing normal shorts? or just wearing underwear? i've never understood that.

If I wear Pyjamas around my parents then I wear briefs underneath. Then when I go to bed I sleep with just the briefs or naked.
