Very true, I can't stand when I buy a DVD I have to watch all this crap.
I've bought the DVD yet there showing piracy adverts on a legal copy......idiots.
Tbh if all DVDs cost £5 then I wouldn't mind the adverts but at £15-£20 I'm not wanting to sit through adverts.

Buying a legit and watching one is the same with watching on the big screen, same things to view, same trailers, same crap. Just less frustrations and wasted popcorn.

£15-20, I wish the prices were this much around here. But you can buy yourself a complete 1:1 pirated copy for £4(We call them golden disc around here - yeah, the same nonsense you will find), £2.5 for just the movie content(We call them silver disc).
Shit, you will find pirated DVD stalls in the public, man. Sometimes, if the police are aware of them, they will get apprehended. If not, you can buy from them.
Illegal download is a totally another issue.

$130 for a DVD? where do you live?
I never buy pirate DVDs simply because they're only in Spanish, and poor quality at that. The legal DVDs are in several languages, English of course, and the quality is far better. Maybe the US pirates can make better quality DVDs.

I never pirate DVDs. Honestly, they are not that expensive. You can get a lot of BluRays now for less than $15.

Because you're ISP can terminate your service.

I don't mind buying the real Dvd's I'm just impatient. I'm one of those rare people that like sitting through the trailers(tit gives me more ideas of what to get next time).

I don't even watch movies at home, so I couldn't care less
music, on the other hand, is something I do care about

I can buy movies on my laptop and on my 360 through the Zune Marketplace and those have no ads. And plus, I'm, not big on pirating anyway.
And movies don't have that MANY trailers on them, lol.

But 999,999 times out of 1 million, they won't.

Oh I know that. But they've already warned me once.

I bet you have Comcast, don't you?
They warn everyone, but when it comes to them actually doing something.....
They want to keep their paying customers, not get rid of them because of something that doesn't affect them.

Alright this is not the place to be discussing piracy.
By the way, if this is not promoting illegal activity I am curious on what the purpose of this thread is and what 'voting with your wallet really means.
