Am i short for my age?

Hey I'm 14 and I'm 5 foot, 4 inches. Back in like 6th grade I had a growth spurt and like became taller than everyone else, but this year almost everyone started growing taller than me lol. I consider myself a little below average in my school, but what about nationwide? I'm not too concerned about my height though, just curious. So... Is 5'4" short for a 14yo? Will I have another growth spurt, or will it just be gradual from now on? How tall are you? :)

well... heres the question... i'm 15, nearly 16, and i'm 6ft2 (or slightly taller)... and when i was 13 (gosh was it really that long ago i went to florida :/) anyway, i was 6ft1, or somthing around that... This shows you that these damn averages are aloada ballony! I'm impecably tall, my friend is incredibly small (5ft1) but his whole family is about my height. He will grow, eventually, and so will you!

Just a little science i learnt on my last day of school before summer holidays this year (thats right they made us watch a bloody sex ed vid in physics :P) a growth spurt is the bones right next to the joinery (so if i drew a picture, erm D=====c being a bone... the slashes are where the bone actually grows in a spurt ... D//=====\\c ) jsut an intresting fact, and this can be by around 2cm a month... Woah, i grew manically for a couple of months, i must have grown about 5cm in one month?

You have a few years left to grow, and unless your parents are really short, you should be fine. The national average is about 5'8" for men. Don't sweat the small stuff, there will always be people who are taller than you, I mean I am 5'9" and 80% of the male student body at my school is taller than me. Nothing to worry about bro.

In 5 grade i was 4'11" in 6th i was 5'6" 7th i was 5'7" and during this last year in 8th i was 5'11.5" so, you will grow some more just growth spurts take awhile!

I'm 15 and 5"2/3. You'll be fine mate, you'll have another growth spurt, whether you get much taller or not really depends on the height of your parents. Mine are only 5"10 and 5"5!

five foot six here same boat as u started to grow then stop.

thats normal for ur age, and if your bi or gay which ur prof says? then most guys find shorter guys then them really attractive :D

You're not short. When I turned 14 last year I was about your height. Now I'm 5 7". I bet you grow a lot in the next year like I did.

at 14 i was round 5'6 to 5'10 (growth spurt round 2) lol now im in round 3 or 4 and im 6'3 was 6'1 all thru january
