I'm considering transferring all of my documents to Google Docs (http://docs.google.com), and just using that as my primary office suite. That way i have easy access to the latest version of all of my documents on any computer connected to the internet.
Does anyone else do this?
What are the pros/cons to it?

Google Docs is a good place to store files but the file editors are nowhere near as good as office suites such as Microsoft Office. If you're someone who needs those advance features it won't be ideal, but if you're just making simple spreadsheets or text documents it would be fine.

I will only use Google Docs for school. otherwise I won't be because while Google docs you can edit anywhere, there are some things you can't do with it that you can with say, Microsoft Word 2010

No. I use Office for all my office stuff.

Office Live Web Apps (It's free!) is much better than Google Docs IMO.
ESPECIALLY seeing as it fully integrates with Office 2010.
Meaning you can create a document at school, work on it at the public library, then finish it at home, all without really having to think.

Well there's that.
But Office Live Web Apps is somewhat separate from Hotmail.
Being as you don't need to get the document in an E-Mail to edit it.
You can just create it right there online, and never have it touch your inbox.
