Girth Size // Pencil Dick

Well, VT, I have a problem,

I am sixteen years old and my penis hasn't grown in width since I started puberty (around 12). I'm really not sure what to do about it! It's like having a pencil dick.

My penis is 5" in length, and from side to side it's about 1." I am starting to get hair under my naval (dark ones) as well as under my arms.

Am I doomed to have a pencil dick forever because my self esteem is slowly dropping each time I think otherwise.

PS:
What were your stages of puberty?

Personally:
1. Pubic hair
2. Voice change
3. Peach fuzz mustache

You need to measure your girth, thats the circumferance or distance around your shaft. That's the only measurement we can really comment against. Girth growth generally comes later in puberty than length growth so its unlikely you really need to worry.

Place a fabric ruler or a string end at the widest part of your penis and wrap it carefully around one time. Mark the spot where the string first touches itself.
If using string, take the marked string and lay it against the ruler. Read to the nearest quarter-inch measurement.

- Basically, use a piece of string and wrap it around your penis and then measure the string and that should tell you your girth.

Well the normal adult range for girth is from 4 - 6" and you are already inside that range. You still have plenty of time for it to grow more, but even if it doesnt, its a normal size, not a pencil.

Well it is when I come across most of my friend's and knowing that my dad is a magnum doesn't help.

You know we dont all start puberty at the same time or progress at the same rate.
But most of us end up much the same at the end of it.

Oh sorry, I thought you meant that was your penis size flaccid and erect and you didn't measure your girth.

I don't think you should worry at all, Nick already stated that you are within the normal adult range. :)

dude, dont worry, we each go at our own pace, as already stated , you are within the "normal" region, you have nothing to worry about

It should even out, and if it doesn't, that is just how you are, nothing to be ashamed of. I personally in the last stage of puberty, stage 4.8 on the tanner scale. Just give it time, everything should even out. :D

Everyone's different, and it will most likely grow. Girth comes later on, I think. Anyway, penis size isn't that much of a big deal. And so far it's: pubic hair, penis growth, voice change, armpit hair, fuzz above lip.
