I can`t take it anymore

This is the worst that I have felt in months. The relationship between my mother and her boyfriend has always been shaky. He doesn`t treat her right, and I am sick of it. I just can stand to see her cry anymore. We live in his house, so we are always worried if we will have a place to live. He blames her for everything, and I have to sit there and take it. I just wish that I could stop all of it. I wish I could just run away from it or die. But I feel like I have to protect her.

I just feel terrible that he hates her for no particular reason. He is also an alcoholic.

Is living with him an option?
I had this same problem, living with my mom having to hear her get bullied and threatened.
To be honest you can't really do much, your mother is probably only going to do what she wants to do, love is is powerful thing, but you need to take care of yourself.
