Changing For P.E. for the First Time

Okay, so...

High school starts next week for me. I was nervous enough to start with, until my mom just happened to mention that we need to change clothes for P.E. class. Holy. Crap.
I have never had to change clothes with guys (for swimming) since I was 10 or 11. And when I was 10 or 11 nobody cared that you got a boner, because everybody got boners from seeing penis when they were that young! And there were no labels and crap.
So here's my issue: I am 100% sure that I am going to be incredibly turned on by changing with guys...and I'm not even sure if there are showers! Plus, I went to orientation today and there are so many hot guys! And a guy got a boner while sitting and his bulge was large. (I like guys, by the way, if you couldn't figure it out.)

I have a few questions: (high schoolers help me out)

It's going to turn into normal routine, just like everything else. If you're worried, just keep your head down while you put your clothes on. It's not as difficult as you think.
I shower with other men almost every day at my gym. No one cares. It's just another part of routine.

I guess it depends on the school. In my hs, we just changed shirts and pants with gym cloths- t-shirt and shorts. We didn't take showers because there wasn't enough time.

1) If we are doing swimming yeah, or if we've done some form of watersports/muddy sports on a day trip or something. Theres never really a fuss just sometimes you see someones cock.
2) When Naked - Try to change as quickly as possible or conceal it with a towel and hand. When not naked - tuck my dick into my waist band
3) Never happened but I'd keep calm and try and laugh it off
4) Simple case is don't look, if your worried your going to get a boner by looking and don't want to simply try your best not to look.

Yes, sometimes, but my suggestion is to just keep your eyes to yourself, and when you are done suiting out, the expression for changing, just go back to the gym.

Well if you are just changing cloths, just change as fast as you can, again if you keep your eyes to yourself, you probably wont get a boner, think of other things.

3) What do you do if somebody notices your boner?
Just keep your eyes to yourself, and change quickly, and that person probably wont say anything unless they are a bully, most guys get boners in the locker room. ;)

4) Any advice to help me not notice bulges or whatever?
Just keep your mind on other stuff, and have fun. I lucked out with a dick that gos up, so it is easy to put it under my waist band.

Hey man, I knnow how you feal.. We had to start changing in locker rooms in Jr. High.. I was scared shittless just beacuse I was never really around allmsot naked infront of other people, But after a whyle, you get use to it. And about the boner thing, If your large, Just be proud to show it off and dont think about it. It will most likley go away. Also, your not spending the whole period there so you will be in and out before any one even notices that you do. Hope I helped !!

Hope this kinda helped. for me the showers during p.e. class were optional, but after taking hockey as a sport, I just showered with the team. so unless your doing sports like football, hockey, swimming, anything really strenuous, you most likely will not have to worry about it :)

Well, I had athletics in 8th grade (I'm going into high school too ^_^) and we had to change for this too. I'm also gay, but I didn't have much trouble. Just try not to look at other guys. I had it last period, so almost no one took showers, so unfortunatly I can't help you there, I recommend just playing it cool, and not looking at other guys. Almost no one removes their underwear (unless they're taking a shower I guess, but then they're usually covered with a towel until they actually get to the showers), there were one or two people who changed into jockstraps or whatever (I wasn't paying much attention to them, I didn't want people to think I was a perv ^_^'''').

Don't worry, after awhile, changing just becomes routine, and you won't even think about the fact that you're surrounded by a bunch of guys (and this is coming from a super gay guy xDDD).

I go to an all boys school; I'm 14 AND VERY GAY (but not femme) and muscular, play baseball and run track, and showering with guys is THE highlight of my day. How much better can it get?? lol A room full of naked boys...R U kidding me? It's like being in a candy shop!!! lol

Some guys know about me, most don't, and the obviously str8 guys aren't gonna really be interested in anything other than comparing "equipment" and ...it just happens. I'm not gonna approach anyone in that situation. Like, there's a time and place for everything right? The lockeroom is NOT the TIME & PLACE for what I "might" be interested in.

I don't have the "equipment" that a lot of guys have, so I cover up with a towel most of the time, but there are guys that have like 5-6" soft - they're HUGE - and they don't cover-up a DAMN thing lol. They show it off..they walk all over with no towel lol

As for boners, BOYS ARE GONNA get erections...most of the time - without any warning, because our hormones are just RACING all the time! And we all know it just happens, so it's a part of life. I just kinda "appreciate/enjoy" what I see, and go on about my business. I kinda like seeing other guys going thru the same embarrassing situations as I encounter daily. It makes it easier for me to talk to my other str8 and gay friends about it, and kinda takes the pressure off.

It all depends on the school you're in. For me, they didn't allow showers, so no penises.:( If they do that at your school, then lucky you!

Well, I didn't figure out I was gay until after high school, so I never really had a boner while changing. Either that or my mind was always on something school-related while I changed (I always did my work at the last minute...)

Try to have your mind preoccupied to some nonsexual thoughts a few minutes before you go in and change. It should help. If your school does allow nakedness in locker rooms, then that might not work so well. Just try different things and see what works for you.

-At my old school, we had a strict NO SHOWERING policy, so no. But if your school makes you take showers, I would assume, yes.

We never did. If you do, it may be hard not to get a boner, but it will be for everyone.

You could hide it. I always changed really fast. I noticed after a year or so that I wasn't the only one doing this though. You're not going to be the only gay guy in the room, and the straight guys will be struggling not to have boners too. When I was in 8th grade, I would think about George Bush and Rosie having sex, and my boner would go away instantly.

It was worse for me. My dick actually slipped through the front of my boxers, and the guys next to me saw it (and didn't say anything). A few years later, I found out that 2 of them are gay anyway. I had to start changing for gym in grade 4 so i am used to it.

If you are somewhat a loner like me, no one cares what you are doing or what you look like while you are changing. If you have lots of friends, sure they might give you a hard time but they are always joking. it happens to them too, so don't feel embarrassed of mad if they tease you.
