Because it's the internet, it's gonna increase, it's not really a big deal :P Just report it and it will be handled by the moderators/senior staff depending on the forum.

Fact is we have bots the reason some bots are here are to index the information to Google. Some are there to advertise, there just so happens to be some of those here. As Siobhan said, you can report it and a moderator will handle it promptly.

There's nothing you can do, trolls will troll bots will spam. Moderators can handle it, it doesn't take much time to report a post.

It does get annoying, but please just report it and ignore it.

With the site getting bigger and bigger more and more advertisers target VT because they see more potential advertising their business here instead of on a forum with 5 members.

Even though the bots are annoying they are usually harmless and only last a few moments before they are gone forever.
