Has anyone heard of the soon-to-come-out game Epic Mickey? Lord I can't wait for it to come out.
Also, has anyone played The Lost Crown, or any scary mystery games? Did you like them? What was the scariest part?

Dead Space is the one scary game that i litteraly just can't play! I'm usually up for a scare and finish the game, but i barely got past the first chapter :D

i actually got really into AVP and completed it without really any scare in me. Being the marine was a bit creepy though, but was so well done that it actually made me clear out the dusty attic to find my old Alien DVD's and Videos lol

everyone has different opinions and are scared of different things, I'll have to try that game out! Also, I heard of this game called scratches, it got bad ratings from gamespot but got really good reviews from everyone who played it.

Doom 3. Midnight. Headphones on. Volume all the way up. In the dark, no lights.
See if you sleep that night and DON'T shit your pants.

System shock 2 is the scariest game of all time. If you say anything else is scary then you don't know scary games.

i suppose it would've been at the time but the graphics are rather obsolete now. i did some research on the game and it said 3 was in development but then 2K bought it over and made Bioshock as a "spiritual successor"?!

Doom is famous for working with the unsuspecting scare tactic. Doom 3, by far, is the best of the series, namely because the developers used a vast arsenal of new technology to change the lighting landscape. By doing this, the player falters somewhat because they're unsure what might come around the corner. You may be walking down a dark hallway and, out of nowhere, FUCKING IMP.

I got a game called Singularity today and it's actually pretty scary, it's an FPS with good mood lighting and weird Dead Space type monsters that move like Dawn of the dead zombies!

There was one original Xbox game that was super scary called The Suffering. It took place in a prison and everyone in the prison turned into zombie things, and you had to try to escape. There were dudes with syringes for eyes and weird stuff like that. I was little when I played it too, which kinda adds to the scariness for me
