Well, welcome to the wonderful and exciting world of hormones and adolescence :)
You really can't do much to control when your voice cracks. I often sing as well - not to impress anyone - but I sure hate it too when I can't reach a high note. Best thing you could do would lower the octave completely, so it becomes easier for you. Anyone would understand should you do that.

There's nothing you can do except wait for your voice to change and settle down again. Its not the best idea to strain for notes that aren't there anymore as you can damage your singing voice that way.

stop singing until your voice breaks, so no damage is done to your vocal chords

Singing through the voice change is OK if you are careful and dont push it.

I am a singer also. And i used to be in this rly famous band in EUROPE when i was little. But after my voice started cracking my teacher and vocal doctor told me that i need to wait till my voice stabilize. And it wasn't easy cuz my band broke up. U need to wait till the whole process is finished. Don't try to hit high notes bcuz u will force ur vocal chords to do something that's not possible and u might risk to hurt ur vocal chords and after ur voice changed u wont be able to sing anymore.. and if u still do.. it will sound horrible. Now i have another band and we are getting there hehehehe... Cheers, hope it helped.

k i sing and act (dramakid :P) anyways my voice isnt changin yet and im 13 going on 14 so... but if yours is cracking and your trying to impress her ask for lower songs or just try and do vocal excercises to increase the pitch of your voice :)

Hey bro, I had the exact same problem. You have to keep exercising your voice, say 30mins to an hour a day. I ended up with a crap deal, my voice is no longer a singers voice, and I can't sing anymore. :( Just keep practicing, and maybe your situation might turn out better than mine. Good luck buddy. :D
