How to get one:
The ONLY way to get one is to just fight as many wild pokemon as you can. Your chances are 1/8192, so the more you battle wild pokemon, the better your chances. Nothing in the game has an effect on getting a shiny encounter other than luck, don't waste your time. If you already have a shiny pokemon and you think it will get better chances of getting a shiny one when you breed, think again. Same chances.
So I've been playing the older pokemon games lately.(fire red/leaf green and before) And I was wondering. Has anyone here caught/seen a shiny pokemon?
