Best classical artist?

What's the best classical artist in your opinion???

Difficult to say because the range is so great and its hard to compare one instrument against another. I really love the tenor voice and my absolute favourite is Placido Domingo.

I plan to write a review on some of his shit sometime soon), Jack Gibbons, Daniel Barenboim, Erik Satie (Fuck yeah), Vladimir Ashkenazy, ugh I could talk about classical music but I'm worn out from talking about it from one of my friends late last year.

I dont think the question meant that really, given that its a music question and not visual arts, I took it to mean performing artists.

No, that's not what I meant. It is about classical music, but I wouldnt class Bach or Mozart as artists, those are composers. I would take the word artist as referring to performers.
