I didn't read the whole thing, just the first half, but you kinda sound like me. I have friends and i socialise and what not but i like to be by myself a lot. Try to find a hobby. I prefer electronics and building things. Theres a satisfaction to making something out of nothing. Maybe you can learn about cars and get an old crappy one for cheap and build it up. All kinds of hobby possibilities.

Im alright at gaming but horrible at programming. I like the hardware side of computers. Learn as much as yo ucan about computer hardware then move on to electronics in general, resistors, capacitors, transistors, inductors, op amps, etc etc. You can do come pretty cool stuff once you learn the basics. Some of the projects ive done include a cardboard case for my server and putting my xbox in a computer gaming case. If you like computers then go with it. Software is only part of it ya know :P

My cardboard server was completely free. Go up to local computer shops and see if they have any older systems they dont want anymore.
