lol damn windows

GRRRR. I was getting some windows updates and it stalled for a long time so I tried to cancel but it would'ent work, I had to do a hard restart. well now my computer will only stay on for like 30 secs before I get an error message, that windows had an error or somthing. I am almost positive its not a virus now. I tried system restore and finishing the updates, my comp wont stay on long enough to get updates, and system restore wont even work. Do you guys have any suggestions. I am pretty sure I am just gonna reformat and reinstal windows. Right now I am on some old crappy computer I found in my basement LOL:lol:

No.... Just, no.....

Start your computer in safe mode with networking. Im not sure but you may be able to finish the updates within safe mode. If you cant then start in safe mode, open command prompt, and type "chkdsk /r". Let that run and tell if it works.

YAY!! I fixed it I finaly got the cd I needed then reformated.
