Is it true that most people who question their sexuality turn out not to be straight? If you ever questioned yours, what did you end up being?

but out of all those that you know who did question it did most of them find out they weren't straight?

I don't think there's any truth to that....

When I was younger (15 - 18 ), I really questioned what I was because I wasn't really attracted to men & at the time, didn't have much interest in sex. I'm 19 now (20 in a week) & have been with my boyfriend since the fall of 2008. We have an 11 month old daughter together. These days I call myself straight, but very open minded. I think that's something that a lot of teens go through. I did & know a lot of other people who have too.... all are straight.

Like I said, I am very open minded, though. Looking back, I seriously could see myself having gone either way.

I dont imagine there are any statistics available for this one. Very soon after puberty I knew I was sexually attracted to other boys but tried to deny that I was anything other than straight. I had some experience with girls which I guess was trying to prove to myself that I was straight, but all it proved was that I'm physically capable of sex with girls. Mentally and emotionally I'm gay most of the time. Every now and again there's some girl that makes me wonder, but that's just a kind of confusing distraction.

Well, when I was about 12-13 I questioned my sexuality and I turned out to be straight. I agree with Nick aout how there is probably no statistical way to prove this, seeing as how during puberty hormones are raging and stuff. It could be possible I guess, but this is the first time I have ever heard of something like this.
