Business men and women rest
In chairs of money sent to invest
A million dollar offering
In order to start profiting
On things we all have loved
A table large and round in shape
Takes a proposition I now make
Along the rows of chairs like thrones
Sit my feelings, my business drones
Waiting for my kneeling chart
A ring awaits that must be judged
Shall it fit or stay begrudged
A proposal I’m ready to make
Percentage signs are not my take
But still I’ll hold onto the best
I propose myself to you
This business trades my love to you
Will you take my offer dear?
Or has my slide been made unclear?
To this proposal, what may you say?
Table spread no papers down
We’re alone now, look around
I propose on my dealt knee
That you will want to be with me
My boss approves, my heart says yes
I propose a life well spent
Our profit love will make the rent
Proposals aren’t an easy thing
With ballpark numbers I take a swing
Do you take this proposal now?
Let our business hearts, be forever bound.
