I think your last sentence answers your own question. You should either accept its just a crush that will never be anything more or take the risk of saying something. Just maybe she feels the same way and has been waiting for you to say. If you dont take the risk you will never know.

I agree with you, maybe I can add some to your suggestions?
It's better to take the risk and get it over with than to dwell on it for so long and waste your time. If she says yes, mission accomplished. If she says no, then tough luck, every guy goes through it atleast once in their life.
