How many infractions can you receive before you are banned?

Depending on the severity of the rule breakage a set amount of points is allocated. bumping threads or spamming or the like would not be as sever as telling a person stfu you prick or something along those lines. So the points reflect the severity of the offence

each different offense that can be punished by infraction has a set number of penalty points. so the points are not determined on individual cases. i think thats what you were asking?

You can see how many infractions you have, and the amount of points they are worth.

I had one infraction for bumping threads and it was 'worth' 25 points

You also should know that nearly all infractions expire and that usually people don't get banned...as in its rare that people get banned due to too many infractions (definitely happens though).

Just so you all know, those infractions can be used in different ways and we can always make up infractions if need be so don't think you can get away with something just because the infraction for it isnt listed ;)
