[Cosmic]

My first piece in a while - hope you enjoy it! Please do reply with any ideas, thoughts, interpretations or criticisms. Also, any ideas for a title are welcome. :D

Untitled

Your ever expanding exclusion zone,
Was it just your love that had me on loan?
Your callous, cutting, cryptic drones,
I hurled myself through sticks and stones.

But as I emerge from the fray,
As I stand here, at the end of the day,
I reconcile the trespasses you sort to allow,
I stand here and wonder where you are now.

I clasp onto forgiveness,
Hope under one foot.
Waging war with your cruelty,
The life you seek to uproot.

Back into the fray,
I charge in deep.
I will wait for no man;
Love is not here to keep.
