Didn't really see anywhere else to put this and since this is like Driver's Ed I figured it would fit under here.

I just told my mom to sign me up to do my 6 hours behind the wheel. Got my vision test done in school and completed my Driver's Ed course with flying colors so I'm set. Just wanted to take a few weeks of summer to do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted without anything being scheduled. But I finally decided to do this thing.

I'm nervous. I'm good with people, even with adults, but I'm still nervous about being in a new situation I'm already nervous about with someone I don't know trying to guide me. I have a few ideas on how to hype myself up, music being one of them.

However, I just want to know what it's like. What do you do on your first day, where do you go, how does it end, etc. I also want to know how your experience was and how you felt about your first time behind the wheel before and after you went through it. Thanks.

I also just passed drivers ed with flying colors. It's no biggy. You just have to stay calm. When you're nervous you tend to over think things, and thats usually when the accidents happen.

Yeah don't overthink anything. Stay calm and all will be fine. Now if I understand correctly, these 6 hours are for your learning permit? I don't know if they make you do 6 for your license, but I do remember the 6 for a permit. My instructor was cool to the point that it was boring. We ended up wasting half the time driving to pointless places so he could get something to eat, go grocery shopping, etc. It was kind of ridiculous, but I didn't really need the hours anyway and I guess he knew that. Good luck!

Stay as calm as possible. Yeah I know, easier said than done. You'll do fine.

Nice.

I know exactly how you feel, I finished up my drive times last week and I also passed. Now I just need a little bit more practice and then I can get my license... :] But anyway, I was super nervous too. The best thing is, just stay calm, have a positive attitude, and make conversation with the instructor. They're there for a reason. Ask questions, make comments, etc. And have the radio on in the background, it passes the time a lot quicker.
