im new here, so anything helps. so every year when i get a physicl, my mom stays in the room with me and she sees everythin. last year i started getting hair on my dick, and now i shave it, im nervous that she or the doctor will say sumthin. also my penis has gotten really big now, im almost 6.5 soft. if anyone wants to pm me here, please, i could use someone to talk to

I would just say that you want your privacy. I mean I don't know how old you are, but if my mother had came in when I had my last examination then I would of cried. It would be so embarrassing.

This is what you should do:

Simply mention that you'd rather have your mom exit the room during this physical. IF a situation happens where they refuse (which I am almost positive will not happen), then you have the right to refuse the physical. This is your business and nothing for her to see now.

i know it is sometimes required to have a parent present in the room but you can ask your mom to look the other way when you are being examined down there. just say that you will yell if anything bad happens :P

You also have the right to say NO to having that kind of exam and then it won't be an issue. They can't force you to remove your underwear and have your penis examined. I basically told my doctors to F'off and I haven't had to worry about that type of exam at all.

Okay, two things, your mom shouldn't stay in there, so if you are about to be checked for hemorrhoids, ask her to leave, she has to because at your age, you have the right to privacy. Second, your doctor wont say anything, it is not only a personal preference to shave, but a cleanliness thing.

Dude, my Uncle is a Doctor, and even though he's my Dad's Brother, (and my Doctor) he tells me there is a thing called "Doctor/Patient" confidentiality.

Unless I or he "specifically" request my Mom or Dad to be in the same room, He won't allow it. And BY LAW, he's required to maintain that privacy for my protection.

Now, after the examination, he may pull them in to just talk about things in general, but when I'm naked and "hangin" - or the YUK..prostate thing (lol) they can't be in there - DAD or Mom.

So, dude, it's time to tell Mom to TAKE A HIKE!! You're not her little boy any more; lol at 6.5 soft...YOU'RE NOT A BOY AT ALL!!! lol Every Guy on here would probably kill for 6.5 soft...lol I WOULD!!

Well, my mom just knew to leave when I reached that age. Actually, she never was really looking over the doctors shoulder at that part...the best thing to do is to tell your mom to give you some privacy even if the easiest way to do that is through a subtle joke.

There are some things parenst are not ment to watch or do with you Doctor check-ups is defo one of those... Tell her to leave if you don't want her to say anything and the Doc won't say anything either he is just there to do your check-up not to judge you and tell you if its good or not that you shave or that u have a big penis

yeah i would say, hey mom wuold you mind if i saw the Dr alone , ya know im getting oldr now and stuff. unless she is like totally weird i think she would understand. i did that to my mom when i turned 12. plus my dr always told my mom to wait outside and talked to me in private asking me about school and if anyone was bothering me or i needed to talk. she has done that since i was 9.

My mum never go in with me to the doctor now. She use to go in with me to interpret but now I just organise interpretor from deaf society.

I would never let my mum go to the doctor with me now, I think once you are 14 year old you should go on your own.

Once you hit puberty, I think it's time to see your doctor alone. For physicals and private matters, anyway.

If the visit is for a flu or virus or something, having your parents present might be a good idea.

Tell her that you're at an age where certain things with your doctor require privacy.

when i get my physical my mom is in the room when the doctor does height and weight and all the other basic procedures. but then when the clothes come off me and my doctor move into his office for the rest of the physical examination ;)

Thank goodness I dont have this problem...Mom started letting me go in by myself...Its much easier to not have to be examined in front of a parent.
