Walking often effects your back and shoulders. It could be that the shoes you wear and combined with strenous walking means that certain parts have been put under strain. My advice would be to just lay off it for a while and relax, swimming is a great way of relaxing all your muscles at once, if it continues then a physiotherapist might be better.

I'd go to the doctors to be on the safe side. A few months back I had pains in my fingers, shoulders, and knees. I went to the doctors eventually and it turns out I have rheumatoid arthritis. You might just have strained yourself from doing certain activities but if this problem is persisting then you should see a doctor. You're probably fine but you need to monitor the pain and if it continues then see someone. It's most likely to be strain from activities like the above poster said, but you never know so just see how it goes.

I don't want to restate what others have already said for the possible reasons. A fix COULD be some shoe inserts -Dr. Scholls- to help realign your spine and posture resulting in a more comfortable day on your feet. A poor pair of shoes -especially flat heel shoes- that are not comfortable will throw your whole body out of line and may be the cause of your shoulder pain and such.
